Woodfield Manor

Located in the heart of the Poconos in Pennsylvania,
this charming hotel gets its heart
from the fabulous new owners and helpful staff of Woodfield Manor.

P&H was invited to design the interiors
of this historical, romantic getaway,
and we immediately fell in love with the quaint features
provided by the original proprietor, who was a Polish woodworker.
Formerly used as an old stagecoach stop,
our designers worked their magic
to transform the guest suites and cottages
into a comfortable and inviting escape
from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The rooms proved to be a challenge that we were able to accommodate by utilizing two color schemes while maintaining consistency among the various buildings.

The result?

A soothing “back to nature” atmosphere
that combines the allure of the past
with the modern comforts of today.

While also creating the pleasing palette
in the on-site steak house,
our palate was certainly tantalized
by the culinary talents offered by the Chop House.
The elegant ambiance we created in their restaurant
beckons with a very upscale menu
offering exotic foods,
prepared by their incredible chef
who wrote us a Thank You note,
saying that we provided an
“excellent canvas to display my food.”

The seclusion of the tall trees
surrounding this private oasis
is further complemented by the stone fireplace out back,
perfect for outdoor gatherings.
