Before & After

When we first opened up
our new division, Evolution Design,
we already knew that our
“One Room at a Time” concept was a winner.
By modifying just a few items in a room,
the entire feel of the space
can be completely transformed.

When this Delray Beach client moved to Florida
and began decorating her own home,
she quickly realized it was becoming a hodgepodge.

That’s when she wisely consulted a professional
to assist with her personalized and harmonized design.

She wanted to keep her previously purchased furnishings,
and expressed to us that her budget was an important factor.

we chose to focus on infusing color and texture
to her existing pieces. This allowed her to express
her tropical style with a contemporary flair.
It was important to her that she keep her
beloved Buddhist monk paintings,
so she was very pleased that we were able
to create a new look for her while incorporating
her original artwork and collectibles.

Her walls were warmed up with color,
and a sleek contemporary wallunit was designed to be
super functional while still respecting the limited space.
As evidenced by these before and after photos,
any room can go from fine to fabulous
without spending beyond your budget.

With the addition of contrasting colors and textures,
our client’s home went from average to awesome!

And our client’s reaction?
She’s thrilled with her new design,
and said she couldn’t have imagined it any better!

Excellence Beyond Expectations

Royal Palm Way
at the Royal Palm Yacht Club in Boca Raton
is home to another P&H Interiors masterpiece.

This 8,200 sf residence was done in traditional style.
We ensured that the requested color palette
of beige, coral and gray tones
remained warm and inviting
by selecting beautiful carved furnishings
and elaborate iron rail and stained glass details.

The overall appearance is one of
opulence and grandeur.
Classic, rich wood tones and
heavily detailed architectural enhancements
complement the polished marble floors.

Impressive balconies off of the Master Bedroom
overlook the first floor Living Room and Dining areas.
From the dramatic entrance of the Theater Room,
to the Guest Rooms personalized
for either masculine or feminine inhabitants –
every detail exudes a complex sophistication
befitting to a home of this stature.
But don’t take our word for it –
below is an excerpt from the client’s letter to us:

“There are no words that can truly express
how thrilled we are with our beautiful new home.
You and your team achieved
excellence beyond our expectations.
The attention to detail is something
that we have never experienced before
and it really stands out in each and every room.
…We have a showplace
that we are very proud of
and I am sure that you are proud
of your accomplishments as well.
Also, we are very thankful to SRD
for making the introduction to P&H…
Again, thank you for all of your
professional attention to the design and décor
of our new home. We both wish you
much success in the future.”

Good As Gold

We don't mean to brag, BUT ...
P&H did it again by winning two Gold PRISM Awards
at the Gold Coast Builders Association August 22nd ceremony.
The "PRISM" (Professional Recognition In Sales and Marketing)
recognizes excellence in design for
the building and design industries.
P&H brought home the Gold for
"Overall Interior Design for a Custom Single Family Home"
and for
"Specialty Room (for the Butler's Pantry) in a
Custom Single Family Home" --
both of the awards were presented for
SRD's model project located at
181 W. Coconut Palm Road
at the Royal Palm Yacht Club in Boca Raton.

This immense 7,746-square foot charmer
includes a sweeping staircase and its own elevator!
The transitional design features clean-lined moldings
with impressive ceiling and tile details throughout.
Inlayed wood border details provide a
visually magnificent floor for the dining room,
which nicely complements the buffet cabinet's
inset stone teakwood top. This same "wood look" stone
is used for the detail surrounding the fireplace.

The family room offers an attractive contrast of
painted and stained wood paired with light fabrics and trim.

The very impressive and spacious Butler's Pantry
is made even more unique with a barrel ceiling,
curved bar sink, and antique mirrored backsplash.

The rich finishes and architectural detailing
transform this space into an unexpected surprise
that's worthy of its Specialty Room award!
The predominance of natural elements,
as found in the Club Room with its
leaf patterned wallcovering,
painted millwork and stained ceiling,
melds for a comfortably warm
and earthy atmosphere.

And if these exclusive elements

aren't quite enough to get your full attention ...

the second floor living room boasts built-in cabinetry,

walls in mossy shades of green,

and has been designed to incorporate

a place for a working desk, cozy TV viewing,

and serves as a card room as well.

To paraphrase a message received
from Scott Dingle, president of SRD Building Corp.,
"We are thrilled with the way
(the) home at 181 Coconut Palm
has turned out. As usual,
it was a pleasure working with
the entire staff at P&H."

This truly beautiful home is a must-see

for those interested in luxury living at its best.

If you're ready for the royal treatment,

and an interior that's as Good as Gold (TWICE)

this is the home for you!

Having a Blast

Following the announcement of our
4 Aurora Awards on a P&H email blast
(see previous blog entitled “Northern Lights”),
we became inundated with emails
from our past and present clients –
all of whom are bubbling over
with excitement and well wishes!
So much so, that we felt the need to share
some of their comments with our readers:

From Karen & Jerry in Parkland:
“Dear Susan, Thank you for sharing
the pictures of you & your staff
receiving those most memorable awards.
Karen & I knew from day one that you would be
exceptionally successful. You are bright,
beautiful & charming & have an outstanding
talented staff. Much continued success…”

From Joe & Bonnie in Boca
“Looks great.”

From Vicki in Parkland
“Please send our Congrats to
Susan & staff – they did it AGAIN”

From Gail in Coral Springs
“Congratulations. Well deserved!”

From Howard in Boca
“Susan, Congratulations on the awards
you received at the Aurora Awards
ceremony !! That is awesome..However,
you do not have to convince me of the
great job P&H does…I saw the house on
West Coconut Palm a few weeks ago and
you guys did a fantastic job on that one.
Look forward to our next “project” in the years ahead…”

Who says that technology is cold and impersonal?
Receiving these sincere sentiments has left us
all warm & fuzzy inside. We’re just doing
what we love to do, and having a blast while doing it!

Party Prose

Although it has been 4 months since our
we continue to receive feedback
from friends far & near. Below is just a sampling
of those heartwarming comments:

From Jeanne in northern Florida:
“…only a catastrophe
would have kept me from attending.
Meeting you and some of Susan’s other employees
was a pleasure, and certainly confirms what
she has been describing of her wonderful work force.
I am so proud of her and all of you,
for all your accomplishments in those 20 years. Congratulations…”

(don’t you just LOVE her?!?)

From Linda and Phil:
“We just wanted to thank you again
for the lovely evening.
It was wonderful to go down memory lane
with you and your guests…
God Bless and may you enjoy
many years of continued success!”

(they are just as sweet as they can be!)
From Rick in Tampa:

“Thank you so much for thinking about (us)
… It immediately brought back good memories
of working with you, Julie, Pam, Anne
and the rest of your incredible team.
I shall always cherish those times.
We won’t be able to attend…but please know
that we enjoy the fruits of your labors every day
and will raise a glass to toast you that evening.”

(did somebody mention a toast ???)

From Steve at SRD Building Corp. in Boca:

“To Susan and the Awesome Team,
I’m sorry to say I won’t be able to attend…
But I did want to say it has been a pleasure
for the last four years that we have been working together.
Your work and talent have surpassed my expectations
and it truly has been a pleasure getting
to know you and your team.
Congratulations and I look forward to
many years of working together in the future.”

(did he say “work” ??? How can this be “work” if it’s so much fun?!?)

Welcome Home

After returning home from a New York trip
to visit her new grandson, one of our valued clients
felt compelled to send us this very heartwarming email:

“I came home from being in NY for a month
with (my daughter and her family)
– it was absolutely wonderful!
… what everyone talks about – about being
a grandparent – is so true!

But enough about me! What I really wanted
to tell you was that after being away
for a month, when I came home,
I looked at the house anew –
and I can’t tell you enough how much I love it.
I cannot believe that we’re going on 2 years – and
I still can’t believe I live here!

Thank you (Susan and Suzanne) – and
the whole team at P and H – for your
wonderful talent and skill and knowledge!
Send my best to everyone.”

Such a wonderful tribute to
the art of interior design!
We are honored to know that our careful
consideration to this client’s needs and desires
has left such a lasting impression.

To have made a home for her
that still makes her excited to come home,
even though she just left her new grandson?!?

… Now that’s something special!

Rave Reviews

They say talk is cheap,
but a letter from one of our fabulous clients is priceless!
Pam in Palm Beach writes,

“Dear Susan,
I cannot tell you how pleased we are with the wonderful job P&H did in our new home. It is exactly what we had hoped for – Beautiful and comfortable. Everyone who visits gives it Rave Reviews.

I’m sending accolades also to Suzanne (our designer). She was a joy to work with -- very organized, responsive and full of wonderful ideas.

I wish I could decorate a new home every year,
but for now I’ll just enjoy this beauty.”

Her warm regards can never match
the immense joy and pleasure we get
in knowing that we have provided our clients
with the design and comfort
that make their home a sanctuary
they can be proud to share
with friends and family.

… so, about the part where she says
she wishes she could decorate a
new home very year … does anyone
happen to have a genie in a bottle???

WESTERN EXPOSURE

Although we were sorry to see
our lovely clients (Rick & Lisa)
move over to the Gulf Coast of Florida,
we were fortunate enough to provide them
with the interior design for their historic residence in Tampa.
They recently hosted the Junior League Patron party
for over 100 guests in their home!
Lisa just dropped us a line to tell us that
“all complimented us on our home
and several wanted to know what [designer] we had used.
It is a beautiful home and we are enjoying it. Thanks!”

It’s so nice when our clients continue
to enjoy the beauty of their homes
and to give P&H the credit.
We are very pleased that
life on the west coast of Florida
is equally as fabulous
as life here on the east coast.
And with the cooler weather settling in for us …
it’s looking like another glorious winter
for those of us here in the South!

Stamp of Approval

As our new award-winning brochure
makes its debut among our clientele,
we thought we’d share a current emailed response
from one couple in Boca who wrote:

“I have been meaning to let you know
how much we liked your book!
From the stamp, to the pictures,
to the words, to the binding –
very impressive – sophisticated – contemporary – and fun!
Continued success – best wishes … "

… and our best wishes to all of our clients,
because P&H Interiors strives for 100% client satisfaction.
We want to treat each client the same way
that we would want to be treated.
And you can see from our team’s smiling faces,
which, by the way,
appears on the postage stamp
of each brochure envelope … we love what we do!

"Complimentary" Sample

We have recently received a delightful response
from a client questionnaire that we just
have to share on our Blog.
Our beloved clients, who recently relocated
from New York to Boynton Beach,
wrote the following:

“We have never before worked with professionalism
at the level of P&H Interiors. Thank you so much.”

To Stephen and Marjorie,
we extend our deepest appreciation
for their kind words,
and we think they sound
as delighted with their new residential design
as we were with meeting and working with them!

Cool Comments from Clients

We’re sorry we haven’t had a recent Blog lately, but we have been busy, busy, busy pleasing our clients. Here’s an actual email from a client in Coral Springs who wrote,
“I haven't stopped smiling since (your designers) were here yesterday. This morning when I woke up, I found my husband had turned on all the lights in the house and was just walking from room to room and marveling at the wonder of it all. Everything is awesome! A service man who was here today said the house looks like it came from a design magazine. He was right! I can't wait for you to see.”
She’s still smiling, and so are we!
